Burberry is a famous English fashion brand which is a symbol of British fashion culture. Thomas Burberry, at the age of 21, founded the fashion house. After 100, this brand has grown to be a sign of England style. At first, Burberry only provided outdoors clothes and troops uniform. In 1880, Thomas invented a waterproof and breathable fabric “Gabardine”, which accepted its patent in 1888. 

The trench coat designed by Burberry maintained its fame and popularity from its birth in 1890 to nowadays. After the First World War, trench coats became the favorites of many Hollywood celebrities and stars, including Audrey Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman and Humphrey Bogart. The widely known trademark of Knight was created in 1901.

In 2001, Burberry added new pattern of classic check, black and red. At the same time, the shoots of super model Kate Moss and Stella Tennant wearing bikini of Burberry Check also pulled the brand from hard times to new prosperity. In 2003, a new collection named after its founder Thomas Burberry, tended to appeal to the young, which brought this brand to a younger orientation.
